With the help of a hair-dryer with 2 cold and 2 hot levels, the function of an air-mass sensor with hot film can be demonstrated. The output signals can be read off directly on the voltmeter. In addition, 2 jacks for the connection of an additional measuring de- vice are provided. This hot film air-mass sensor is part of the latest generation. It compensates the vibrations in the suction tube and only measures the air flowing in one direction. This can be demonstrated by turning the air-mass sensor 180 degrees, the device does not show any reaction.
